L to R: Macadamia, Beauty Protector, Marcelle, Harvey Prince and Cynthia Rowley Beauty

Cynthia Rowley Beauty – Creamy Lip Stain

I got this in the shade Poppy, and I think it’s an appropriate name for it! it’s sheer coral. I’m telling you guys coral is going to be the color for spring, or already is. I love how tiny the size of this sample is. Usually I complain that the size is super tiny, but this one is good tiny. It’ll fit anywhere, although I feel like I might lose it the next day.

Beauty Protector – Beauty Wash Body Cleanser

Not a fan of the size. See what I’m saying from above? :) I feel like for body wash, you need to give us sample that can be used for at least a whole week! This is probably going to last me two washes at most.. Not a fan of the smell either. But I can’t complain much because it is a $10 bag.

Harvey Prince – Hello Perfume

In my YouTube video, I did feel like I have this sample already. Turned out that I do, but in the shampoo/conditioner form. This smells really good and I can totally use a small spritzer spray bottle to put in my purse. Sometimes I do get a little smelly from being in the sun during the day.

Marcelle – Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel

Honestly, not too sure on how to use it. I feel like this is going to be one of those moisturizer sample I have in my bathroom. I use it when I’m running out of my regular face moisturizer. Always handy to have laying around the house.

Macadamia Professional – Nourishing Moisture Oil Treatment

I actually picked this sample for the month. It came in a glass bottle and it’s pretty fancy. The smell is the smell of oil, I thought it would smell nicer but it’s OK. Will give this a try, maybe just a tiny drop because not a fan of the smell.. :)

I’m pretty OK with what I got in this month’s Birchbox. Sample size wise, they’re smaller than my ipsy. It’s a hit and miss with Birchbox, I might need to update my beauty profile.

L to R: Liz Earle, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Whish, Beauty Protector & Cargo.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Clear Brow Gel

This was actually the main reason I got this box! However, I tried it once and I didn’t like how the gel makes my brow hair so stiff. I didn’t think it was going to have the same effect on my brow like regular hair gel.

Whish – Shave Crave Shaving Cream

I got a Whish lotion but the smell was lavender. Didn’t really like it. The smell of this shaving cream was blueberry and I like it :)

Cargo – Swimmables Water Resistant Blush

My first Cargo cosmetics product and I love this thing! I got the shade Los Cabos and it’s perfect. Not sure of how “swimmable” this blush is, but I shall give it a try in the summer :)

Beauty Protector – Protect & Oil

Heard about this brand and supposedly the protect and oil is good for your hair. Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m excited! I’ve been using one of those Morrocan oil I got from Target.

Liz Earle – Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion

I don’t know about this.. It sounds gimmicky. It’s supposed to be a lotion, but it’s super watery. We shall see!

Vasanti – BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

I honestly haven’t used this. Not super exciting..

Evologie – Intensive Blemish Serum

I tried this a few times because it seems so promising. I don’t think I see any difference on my blemishes, but I might need to try it longer and be more consistent. One thing I noticed though, it smelled so strong! I think that’s good for an acne product.. Right?

it’s a 10 – Miracle Leave-In Product

I LOVE THIS THING!! It’s one of the products I picked to be in my Birchbox and I just fell for it! My sisters use them and their hair always smell so good. I even bought the full size after finishing my sample from Birchbox. Love love love this product!!

Mirenesse – Mattfinity Lip Rouge

Love the color! The shade I got is called Paris. it’s a bit of a mauvy color and I love how it feels on my lips. Basically it doesn’t dry up your lips but it looks matte enough.

Etat Libre – d’Orange Like This

The smell of this perfume is not super citrusy, which I like, but it’s just not for me. I like my girly perfume more! :)

L to R: Fekkai, Derma E, Not Soap Radio, Sumita & the Balm

Sumita – Color Contrast Eyeliner

The color of my eyeliner is navy blue. I’m not too sure if I’m going to wear it as often as my black ones. My face is oily in general and I think this eyeliner is a  bit creamy which can be a problem. Just gotta make sure I prime those eyelids before I use this eyeliner.

Derma E – Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub

I love this thing! At first I only tried it without my facial wash and I remember hating how it didn’t remove my makeup. But then again, it’s a scrub not a makeup remover. Every time I use this, I wash my face with my facial wash and scrub my face with this Derma E scrub. Now I fall in love with this scrub and secretly hoping my wrinkle won’t come out until I’m 87 ;D

Fekkai – Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo

I don’t really use dry shampoo as my hair care routine. I just love washing my hair every day, even though I know it’s probably not the best for my hair. I wear this sometimes if I want to go out after work and my hair looks oily. It smells SO GOOD! I just can’t stressed enough how good this thing smells :)

Not Soap, Radio – Body Wash

When I first smelled this body wash, it smells so yummy I want to eat it ;) It seriously smells like smoothies you would blend, but on the positive note, it’s a great body wash! I wish I have more of it.

the Balm Cosmetics – Read My Lips Lip Gloss

Love this lip gloss! Love the color and the size. No complains :)

January 2015 – Collective Haul, ipsy and Birchbox

Good morning, wonderful people <3

This week has been a pretty good week so far! I got my ipsy and Birchbox yesterday! I think both of them are tie this month because I love a few things in each box. AND by the end of the week, I’ll be getting my January Boxycharm and my PopSugar + Target Must Have box :) SO ALL IS GOOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!

January 2015 – Birchbox Review

About – Birchbox is a subscription service that give you five sample-sized products every month. Like ipsy, the products range from makeup, skin care and hair care products.

Cost – $10 + tax every month.

Klorane – Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

This was my very first dry shampoo sample so I was really excited to try it. I usually spray this on after work if I’m going out. It sort of absorbs some of the oil in my hair, but I wouldn’t wear this on

Whish – Three Whishes Body Butter in Lavender

The smell of this body butter reminds me of something my mom used to cover our skin when we were babies after shower. I didn’t like lavender smell as much, but I keep this in my night stand in case I need some lotion in the middle of the night.

COOLA – Environmental Repair Plus Radical Recovery After-Sun Lotion

It hasn’t been super sunny, so I haven’t used this yet. I’ll definitely put this in my skin care routine during summer time.

Coastal Scents – Revealed Palette

When I got this sample, I actually just received the full size palette from Boxycharm! This actually has just been sitting in my drawer. I am planning to maybe update the makeup bag I carry around everyday and put this in it.

Aquareveal – Satin Bright Soft Water Peel for Face

I haven’t gotten around to this yet..

December 2014 – Birchbox Review

About – Birchbox is a subscription service that give you five sample-sized products every month. Like ipsy, the products range from makeup, skin care and hair care products.

Cost – $10 + tax every month.

COOLA – Face SPF 30 Unscented Matte Tint

Still need to try this..

Camille Beckman – Body Butter

This body butter comes in a tiny tube so I usually use them as hand lotion. It smells really good and it doesn’t leave any greasiness after you put it on. I leave it at my office so I can moisturize my hands after every hand wash.

SeaRx – Microdermabrasion Face and Body Scrub

This one of the products that I thought would come in a bigger container from the picture online. It came in a tiny squeezy tube and honestly won’t be enough for a body scrub. [need to try it still]

RUSK – Texture Spray

I’m not an avid hairspray user, but I tried this a few times after I straighten my hair. It smells really good and even after a good 5 months, it’s still sitting not even half empty on my dresser.

Acure Organic – Lip Lush

I liked the color, but not a big fan of the texture. It also smells like banana, which is kind of weird to me for a lip product. I gave it away to my sister.
