Urban Decay – 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil & Revolution High Color Lip Gloss

I love Urban Decay, who doesn’t? My glam bag came with two pretty generous (but kind of weird packaging) sample of the shade Failbait (a pretty combination of maybe red and coral) and Bittersweet (a pretty bold purple). It also came with the lip pencil that supposed to prime your lips before applying any products.

Luxie Beauty – Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205

I heard of these brushes from Promise, Michelle Phan’s sister-in-law who also does make-up tutorials/transformation on YouTube. They’re this pretty brush with pink and bronze/rose gold trim on it. It’s really soft and I can never have enough beauty brushes! :)

IT Cosmetics – Your Skin but Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

I heard so many good things about IT cosmetics and I’m super excited to try this CC cream. It came in the shade medium, so hopefully it’ll match my skin when I get a bit tanner.

Briogeo – Rosarco Milk

I’m not super sure if I’m going to like this. I already have two hair products that I use after I wash my hair. But I’ll give this a try regardless. I can tell you now that I’m not a big fan of the smell..

Pixi by Petra – Beauty Bronzer

To be honest with you guys, I’m not a bronzer girl. I love my blush though! I think part of it is because I’m scared of playing around with bronzer. I don’t want my face to look overly baked or bronzed because I’m usually pretty pale. This bronzer however is pretty subtle when I swatched it on the back of my hand. I feel pretty confident in playing with this bronzer because the color is pretty soft.

That is all in my May ipsy glam bag! Overall, I’m pretty satisfied at how generous the sizes are. I’m excited about pretty much everything in my bag. Watch the unboxing video I just posted on YouTube here:

JulieG – Nail Color

I’ve never heard of Julie G before but I already fall in love with her nail polish collection, well the one that I got from ipsy :) The color is stunning and this nail polish lasts longer than others I own (longer than OPI and essie). When I tried this on, I didn’t even have any first or top coat but it didn’t chip as fast as others. I will definitely check out her other colors and you can get them at Rite Aid or at the Jesse’s Girl website.

Lather – Ultra Light Face Lotion

I don’t know why but I’m not too excited to try this. It’s just been sitting there untouched. Maybe I’ll try next time I’m running out of my moisturizer..

theBalm Cosmetics – NUDE Dude Shadow Single

This shadow single is similar to the highlighter sample I got from ipsy from theBalm Cosmetics. I honestly haven’t even given this shadow single a try but I already got the full size palette because ipsy had it on sale for $20 with free shipping! :) Can’t you tell I’m a makeup junkie? Anyway, this is such a neutral color that I know I can wear them everyday. However, this particular shade that I got (Fit) is pretty dark so I probably won’t use it as much as the other lighter shades on the palette.

Starlooks – Satin Finish Lip Gloss

The color swatch is so cute! I’m excited to pair this with an earth-tone color lipstick and give it a shimmer in the middle of my lips with this lip gloss :)

Mullein & Sparrow – Mini Lip & Cheek Tint

Not sure if I want my cheek to feel sticky from this; I honestly don’t have much experience with cheek tint. I for sure will utilize this as a lip tint though.

March 2015 – ipsy Glam Bag “Floral Fantasy” Review

LeeAnni Eco – 3 in 1 Revolution Light

I haven’t really give this product a chance; mainly because something about the 3-in-1 thing that I’m not a big fan of. But I just read the product description again on the ipsy website and it seems like it’s something I need to try to keep my face moisturized.

Pixi by Petra – Mesmerizing Mineral Duo

I need to say that this mini duo shadow palette is really pigmented. I accidentally pushed way too hard on the powder with my fingers and I got to see how thick the consistency of the powder is. I usually grab this when I’m late to work and I use both colors on my lids so my eyes look a bit brighter and I can get out of the house faster :)

NYX Cosmetics – Butter Lipstick

I got this lipstick in the shade ‘Hunk’ and  you see how purple the packaging is! I thought the colour would be just like that, but it’s not! It’s a soft pink/purpley shade and I think it’s so pretty for spring. It’s almost like a transition color between fall and spring. I really love this color and it’s been my favorite all month long!

pur~lisse beauty – Pur~delicate Gentle Soymilk Cleanser & Makeup Remover

I think I tried something similar to this. Not a big fan of it though. Maybe I’ll give this one another try to see if it works better than the one I tried before.

Evelyn Iona Cosmetics – Concealer

My first impression was to critique the packaging. It’s so hard to fit my finger in the opening of the pod if I’m in a hurry.

February 2015 – ipsy Glam Bag “Ipsy Love” Review

Eva NYC – Up All Night Volumizing Spray

The first thing I noticed about the spray is that it smells so good! When it came in the mail, this unfortunately leaked. I contacted ipsy care and they sent me another one the next day!

At first I thought this was a hairspray and was a bit turned off by it because I don’t use hair spray that much. However, after I read the “how-to” section, I realize that it’s one of those leave-in hair products and supposedly this spray will help you get that extra volume for your hair, which is what I wanted since my hair is pretty flat.

Mitchell and Peach – Fine Radiance Face Oil

Before I got my February glam bag, I watched Ingrid Nielsen’s video where she was using this face oil before applying her morning makeup routine. I thought to myself that I probably won’t use this oil before my morning makeup, because my face is oily already. I felt like this was going to make my face even oilier than it already is. I opted to use this at night before sleeping, but I fell off the routine and haven’t used this face oil ever since that first try. So not really a big fan of face oil, but I think I’ll try to put this in my skin care regimen once or twice a week.

Emite Make Up – Professional Eyelash Curler

YAY! Can never go wrong with an extra eyelash curler :) Although ipsy did send an e-mail saying that some of the curlers are faulty. Mine was great, and still stored nicely in my makeup organizer.

City Color Cosmetics – Creamy Lip Stain

I can never say no to more lip products! This lip stain’s color is so pretty and girly. I feel like the finish is in between matte and glossy. It’s not super shiny, but it’s not super drying either.

ModelCo – BLUSH Cheek Powder

Another thing to know about me is I’m a blush junkie! I got excited trying on new blush. I like this blush because the color is so soft and again super girly! I don’t have to be afraid to put on extra layers of this blush, because the color is soft I won’t look like a Japanese doll :)

January 2015 – Collective Haul, ipsy and Birchbox

Good morning, wonderful people <3

December 2014 – ipsy, Julep Maven and Beauty Blender Review

I am so excited that my ipsy, Julep Maven and Beauty Blender finally GOT HERE! It’s only been here for a few days but I’ve pretty much tried everything.. I’m going to do a mini review of the stuff that I’ve got and I’ve tried. Keep reading if you’d like to know :)

This is how my Julep Maven box looks like when it arrived!

Julep Maven Welcome Box December 2014

Monthly: $24.99 with free shipping

3 nail polishes in (top to bottom): Ava, Logan and Lupita

Sugar Plum Eye Liner

Top to bottom: Ava, Logan and Lupita

Julep has a promotion that if you sign up to be a Maven, your first box is free! I only had to pay for shipping which is only $2.99, and I got 3 polishes plus a dark purple eye liner. I heard you usually are able to choose what colors of polish and which product you’ll get in your box. But since it is my “welcome box,” I didn’t get to choose my items. For me, the color selection was just okay.

Hopefully I get to choose my colors next time! They also sent me an email to sign up so they can throw in a top coat for me next month. Overall, the box came on time and they were prompt with the tracking code e-mail.

You know good stuff is in this pink bag!

ipsy Thinking About You December 2014 Glam Bag

Monthly: $10.00 with tax for California = $10.90

4-5 sample size to deluxe sample size products

Bumble and Bumble All-Style Blow Dry | Nourish Organic Eye Cream

Nyx Cosmetic Butter Lip Balm | Crown Brush Eye and Crease Duet Brush

Tarte Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

Thinking About You is the theme of the month, and I'm an inspiring original..

The ipsy bag is probably the most anticipated one for me! I’ve been tracking it down like almost every day since ipsy posted on Instagram that they’re shipping the bags for this month. I think the item I love the most is the Tarte mascara and the Crown Brush duet brush. The Nyx Butter Lip Balm is pretty good, but this is kind of like Chapstick, EOS and Baby Lips combination. It is tinted and the shade I get is called Red Velvet. The tint stayed on pretty well on my lips.

The Bumble and Bumble All-Style Blow Dry I might use maybe for special occasion when I blow dry my hair and the eye cream I’ll try every night ;)

This thing is amazing!

Beauty Blender Review

2 pack with the cleanser

Amazon for $32.34 now; it was $35.46 when I got it

Left is when it's dry and right is after it's damp

I am actually beyond impressed with these! I just couldn’t believe that these Beauty Blender can grow so much after you damp them. I might need to play around with these because when I tried it for the first time it didn’t really blend well. But overall, I am very happy :)

Very happy December for me..
